Director and Founder
Larissa Phillips created the Volunteer Literacy Project in response to the adults who came to her GED tutoring program looking to learn to read. Before working in adult ed she was a writer and editor. She is the author of several decodable books for children and adults. She believes the tools for teaching reading should be available to all.
